Mazu Sailcloth, in partnership with Advance Fiber Technologies (AFT), introduces Skylite™, an innovative UV protection fabric engineered to deliver outstanding performance, long-term durability and significantly reduced weight.
Developed using a high-tenacity, woven, low-aspect-ratio polyester construction, Skylite™ combines exceptional strength with a remarkably soft and flexible feel, making it an ideal solution for modern high-performance sails.
Ultra-Lightweight Protection Without Compromise
At just 200 g/m², including its pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) backing, Skylite™ offers excellent UV resistance, water repellency and long-term weather protection at a fraction of the weight of conventional alternatives.
Traditional UV protection fabrics can weigh 1.7 to 2 times more, adding unnecessary bulk and stiffness to the sail.
